THE LITTLE SNAIL LUNCH - Sep 2025

On a wet and soggy 10th September 2025, around 43 Members travelled by train, light rail, and other means to this ‘best kept secret’ venue, the Little Snail in Pyrmont, opposite the Maritime Museum.

From the outside it was inconceivable that this restaurant can hold over 110 patrons, and it was full – on a Wednesday!

The 3-course meal, at a cost of $48 (not BYO), turned out to be an interesting menu, great quality food, nicely presented.  It is amazing how they can present such a feast for so many people, and no fuss.

Without exception, everyone enjoyed their lunch, and certainly a venue to revisit.

Then back into the NSW transport system.  We were all fortunate to return home safely, despite the vicious rain and storms that did disrupt travel a bit later in the day.

Our thanks to Leo and Karen Murphy for a great outing.
