TRAVELING WILBURYS - May 26
Our group of 13 Probians enjoyed a high-quality music experience at the Glen St Theatre on Sunday, 3rd May.
A full house of mature music lovers marvelled at the mix of 5 lead singers who doubled as 5 harmony backing singers for each other. Highlights included ‘My Sweet Lord’, ‘You Got It’, and of course the famous Traveling Wilburys song, ‘End of the Line’. and ‘Free Falling’ The Traveling Wilburys - End Of The Line (Official 4K Music Video.
The Traveling Wilburys were a British and American supergroup formed in Los Angeles in 1988, consisting of Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, and Tom Petty. They were a roots rock band and described as "perhaps the biggest supergroup of all time".
The tribute show was very professionally arranged, so we all had a great night bopping to the familiar tunes.
