CRONULLA THE ESPLANADE WALK - Mar 26

An overcast day saw 23 walkers descend on the coffee shops of Cronulla to be caffeinated before setting out on our walk.

And so it was that we made our way through the prams and joggers of Cronulla to Hungry Point, from whence most caught the bus back to Cronulla for lunch, with some people taking the opportunity to picnic in Gunnamatta Park on Gunnamatta Bay.

There were spectacular views up and down the coast and across Port Hacking to Bundeena. Others walked back along the foreshore or directly into town via Gunnamatta Bay, with four of us checking out the luncheon offerings at the local RSL.

All in all, a pleasant morning's walk, enjoyed by all.

The day was cloudy and whilst it did take away from the view somewhat, it did keep the day a little cooler. A gentle breeze was arranged to further make the walk agreeable!
