It was a packed day for the Gardening Group in August. After both groups from the two train lines met up at Circular Quay, we visited the Botanic Garden for a stroll along the Spring Walk after enjoying a morning tea at the Cafe.

 

Then it was onto the Art Gallery for our annual tour of the Archibald Prize. Our guide Tess gave us a wonderful hour-long tour and so comprehensively covered the Wynne, Sulman, Archibald and young Archies. We all feel we get so much more out of it by having a private guided tour and the headphones make it so much easier to manage.

 

A delicious lunch in the Art Gallery cafe was enjoyed by all and then it was off to the new Metro to try out the new system as our way home.
