On the first day of Spring, around 20 Members met at Milsons Point for a walk across the Harbour Bridge, past the Sydney Observatory, around Barangaroo, through Darling Harbour and Pyrmont, ending up finally in Tumbalong Park.

Following our mandatory coffee start, we headed up onto the bridge (most hardy souls climbed the stairs!) and headed off.

Being a glorious day the harbour and city skylines were perfect for photographs.

Our route took us down through Barangaroo (not yet completed when our group last ventured here), past Packer’s Pecker (Crown Sydney), King Street Wharf, the Aquarium, and on past the towers and restaurants to Tumbalong Park. There the group divided where some enjoyed a picnic lunch in the sunshine while others partook of one of the nearby cafes.

The day concluded with a vigorous walk UP to Town Hall station and a pleasant trip home.
