Westleigh Probus visited The Norman Lindsay Gallery and Museum in April 2023.

 

The visit was a combined Garden and Outing Activity. Our tour was prearranged thanks to John Walker.  There was considerable interest and as a result, a large group from the club arrived in time to do a guided tour.  The group was split into two separate tours due to the large numbers.

 

We toured the gardens and sculptures, visited Norman's authentic original painting studio and inspected the main residence.   Our guide gave us a demonstration at the engraving cottage, and then free time in the painting gallery.

After the visit, most of the group enjoyed lunch at Springwood Sports Club at pre-booked tables.

 

It was a great day out.
